Having been raised between Belgium and the UK, Ilana speaks seven languages including French, Russian and Spanish. After moving back to her childhood home of Antwerp in 2009 when she married her husband Elie Chodos (a 3rd generation diamond dealer) Ilana launched her bespoke jewellery design house, Noble Fine Jewellery in 2014. She then went on to create Zimmi Diamonds, selling rough and polished Zimmi diamonds to clients around the world from her family-leased mine in Sierra Leone.
